This interview is what I consider to be my best podcast appearance to date, a conversation at the UploadVR’s VIP GDC mixer with , led to me rehashing the information from an off-the-record talk where I took a deep dive into the psychology, technology, and science behind how and why the mind comprehends VR as real, and what is required to do that. I used examples of studies from VR’s early days combined with anecdotes about VR’s psychedelic roots and its continuing relationship with sex and drugs. Get a taste of that talk in its only currently existing on the podcast on Voices of VR podcast: The Extremes of Mental Presence: Cognitive Enhancement, Biohacking, Psychedelics & Transhumanism.
