One thing to think about when going to Burning Man is that you are going to be almost always walking, climbing, dancing or biking. This means it is going to put a lot of wear and tear on your feet, and so you’ll need a pair of boots that can handle it. I recommend boots because you do not want sand to get kicked up into your shoes and onto your feet.
I spent some time researching boots and I ended up with a consensus that the Palladium Men’s Baggy Canvas Boot is probably one of the best choices out there. I have personally worn them at the last 2 burns and they have served me well. I never had foot pain or any problems, and there are a few nights where I literally didn’t even took them off to sleep, so I can say with confidence that you can literally wear them for days without problems.
The style is cool and blends in pretty well especially once they (and you) are all dusted up. As an amazon Prime-friendly boot at around $50, I don’t think they can be beat.
